形態特徵

A climbing shrub to 4 m or more.
Leaves chartaceous, broadly ovate, 7–10 cm long, 3.5–7 cm broad, acuminate, rounded to subcordate at base, entire, dark and minutely pilose above, soon glabrescent, pale and more or less densely tomentose beneath, the midrib and veins slightly impressed above, raised beneath, the lateral veins about 5 per side, strongly ascending, the reticulations fine, subconspicuous above, inconspicuous beneath; petioles 2–4 cm long, tomentose.
Inflorescence a terminal corymb to 25 cm broad, white-pubescent, the outer flowers sterile; pedicels long; sepals ovate to ovate-oblong, 3–5 cm long; stamens 10; ovary inferior, 5-celled, the ovules many.

台灣 : Climbing on rocks and trees in forests.
世界 : The species in western and central China, the variety endemic to Taiwan.
